North Carolina is a great place to be a potter. Pottery is a big part of the culture and history, from the Moravian artisans who settled in the Piedmont area of our state with their slip-decorated redware, to Jugtown and Seagrove you will find all sorts of pottery.
Part of a burgeoning community of potters in Eastern North Carolina, I am inspired by that functional, sturdy, country pottery in the mountains as well as fabrics with bright patterns, quilts and antiques. Combining my love of cooking and hospitality, I create pots that will serve at your table, perk up your garden, rest easily in your hands while you drink your coffee. I love to know that the things I make are in people's homes, being used and becoming part of their family histories.
As you explore the gallery and store, I hope you find delight and , inspiration and something that makes you smile and helps you connect with other people.
